The Holiday Shoppe will be open during performances, Open Mic, Drumming Circle, and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Each purchase in the Holiday Shoppe supports programming at 6OTS. We're looking for 3 or 4 Teen Bands to compete in our first Teen Battle of the Bands. Each band will perform for 30 minutes; once all the bands have performed, the audience will decide the Winner by applauding for the Band they liked the best, and that band will receive a Cash Prize! (it will pay to get all your friends out to hear you!) Tickets are $5. Grassanova puts a new twist on traditional bluegrass tunes, throwing in a mix of early jazz, swing, and blues. Based in the Southern Tier, Grassanova is made up of 4 talented and accomplished musicians: R. J. Siegers, Jim MacWilliams, Tom Quigley, and Marie Shaver. Tickets are $10 until the day of the performance, $12 on show date. 
Like a breath of fresh Scottish sea air, North Sea Gas is stopping at 6OTS on the first weekend of their North American tour. Blending Scottish and Irish music for over 20 years, this award winning band boasts "if you like entertaining folk music, if you like to sing along, if you like to laugh but also listen, then look no further than North Sea Gas to fill the bill". Tickets are $15 until the date of the performance, $18 on show date.
We had so much fun with these guys back in March that we invited them back again. A talented and much-requested quartet based in Oneonta, JTM performs favorites from the 60's through today - feel free to get up and dance! JTM is composed of musicians Willy Wood on vocals and guitar, Bill Youngs on bass, Doug Decker on vocals and guitar, and Johnny Banks on percussion. Known for their extensive repertoire of music, these guys also throw in a few of their original tunes every once in a while just to keep the audience on its toes. Join us for an evening that will be relaxing and - they promise - not too loud! Tickets are $12 until the day of the performance, $15 on show date.
Marjorie appeared earlier this year at 6OTS, and wowed the audience with her finger picked blues, her stories of blues performers, and her renditions of several familiar Beatles tunes. Singing in the rags and root style, Marjorie writes and sings songs of life with a heartfelt passion. These songs are sometimes quirky, sometimes humorous, but all come from her living her life to the fullest and pursuing her musical muse. Wherever her talent and inspiration comes from, her friend and mentor Jorma Kaukonen and his wife Vanessa urged her to take her music to audiences around the world - and we're glad they did! Tickets are $12 until the day of the performance, $15 on show date.
Our friends, Fetish Lane, have been a part of 6OTS since we opened; we always have a great time when they are on stage! Their music is a little bit rock, a little bit folk, and a whole lot of attitude. Join us for a rockin' holiday night! Tickets are $8 until the day of the show and $10 at the door. 
Master fiddler Lissa Schneckenburger plays traditional New England music with her own twist. Her skillful fiddling and sweet, melodic voice, combined with her energy and enthusiasm, make this a perfect show for an early winter's evening. Accompanied by guitar and bass, she will spin new twists on old favorites of the season. Tickets are $12 until the date of the performance, $15 on show date. 
A favorite Irish duo that play traditional tunes, songs from the canals, and their own original songs, The Dady's Holiday Show will feature songs of the holiday season as well as favorites. You can sing along - and even dance along - making this a fun show for the entire family. Tickets are $15 until the day of the performance, $18 on show date. Children under 15 are half price.
